Meet Andy, Owner of Neighbourhood Painters
Painting has been part of my life since I was 15 years old, when I first started working alongside my dad, a professional painter. What began as learning the trade quickly turned into a true passion, one that still drives how I approach every project today.
Over the years, I’ve built experience not only in residential painting, but also in staining, varnishing, wood finishes, and project management. My background in architecture and business has also shaped how I run projects, emphasizing attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong focus on customer experience.
After moving from Quebec to Alberta, I spent five years working with the previous owner of Neighbourhood Painters, including two years as project manager. That experience gave me the opportunity to refine my craft, lead projects, and better understand what homeowners truly value: quality workmanship, clear communication, and a smooth, stress-free process.
Today, I’m proud to carry that forward as the owner of Neighbourhood Painters. Whether it’s refreshing a single room or transforming an entire home, I take pride in helping clients feel proud of their space again.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family, golfing, fly fishing, skiing, gardening, and making the most of Alberta life with my dogs.

Justin Harms | Project Manager
My name is Justin Harms, I have been a professional painter now for over 17 years. I have successfully been managing interior/exterior projects comprised of a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial with a little of everything in between. Mind you there is always something to learn but I solidly feel very well-rounded regarding my experience so far and will continue to strive to learn and grow. I consider myself to be very dedicated to each and every job no matter the size and I genuinely strive to make each project the very best that it can be. I will always treat clients, property and their fur babies with the utmost respect, consideration and care. Top quality is my main goal and I truly love transforming the old and beat up and making things fresh and new again for clients to enjoy!
